I have attempted to make french macarons way more times than I'd like to admit, and have been struggling with achieving success. So you can imagine my delight when a couple of friends invited me to take a macaron class with them. I was so proud of my macarons that I just had to share the end result!! Now, I just have to practice re-creating them...

i've been meaning to take a class, too. yours turned out so beautiful!
ReplyDeletethank you!! luckily the restaurant school in my area offered a french macaron class. if you've been having trouble with the traditional macaron technique, you may want to try the italian meringe technique. you can find good instructions here: http://www.myfoodgeek.com/2007/06/08/almost-foolproof-macarons/
ReplyDeletegood luck!
